Access is via the Carretera Tacna-Tarata (PE-26) for 35 kilometers, then turning onto a well-maintained dirt road for the remaining 10 kilometers. Ample parking is available on-site. Public transport options are limited; shared taxis (colectivos) can be hired from Tacna, but direct bus routes are not available.
