From Ahoada, smaller unpaved tracks provide entry into the reserve. These tracks are often impassable during the rainy season (April-October). No designated parking facilities are available; vehicles are typically parked at the edge of accessible tracks. Public transport to Ahoada town is available via bus from Port Harcourt. Further access within the reserve requires private transport or local guides.
