The area is geologically characterized by ancient metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, shaped by erosion and tectonic activity over millions of years. Ecologically, it represents a significant tract of tropical rainforest.

Wildlife observation, including potential sightings of mammals like gibbons and various deer species, is also a focus. Photography of flora and fauna is permitted.
Infrastructure & Amenities
Basic visitor facilities, including some designated rest areas and information points, may be present near entry zones. Restrooms are limited and generally found at ranger stations or designated entry points. Shade is abundant within the forest canopy. Cell phone signal is unreliable and often absent within the sanctuary's interior.
Best Time to Visit
The dry season, from November to April, offers the most favorable conditions for access and outdoor activities. The early morning and late afternoon provide optimal lighting for photography. There are no specific tide requirements as the sanctuary is landlocked.
