Parking is available at a designated lot near the entrance to the nature trail. Public transport options include local buses from Yaremche that stop near the turn-off for Dovbusha Rock; a further walk of approximately 1.5 kilometers is then required.

Dovbusha Rock is a sandstone formation dating back to the Jurassic period, approximately 150-200 million years ago. It was shaped by natural erosion processes over millennia. The name "Dovbusha" is associated with Oleksa Dovbush, a legendary Ukrainian outlaw leader from the 18th century, who is said to have used these rocks as a hideout. Ecologically, it is part of the Carpathian montane ecoregion.
