Facts & Legends
Judge Isaac C. Parker presided over the Western District of Arkansas from 1875 to 1896, during which time 16 men were sentenced to death and executed by hanging at the fort. The gallows, known as "The Three-Fifteen" (referring to the 3:15 PM execution time), is preserved on site.
