Jebel Hafeet is a mountain located in the city of Al Ain, within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the highest point in Abu Dhabi and the third highest in the UAE.

Parking is available at designated viewpoints and at the summit area. Public transport directly to the summit is not available; visitors typically use private vehicles or taxis.

The mountain is composed of sedimentary rock, primarily limestone, formed over millions of years from marine deposits. Its current elevation and form are the result of tectonic uplift and erosion. The area is known for its fossil discoveries, indicating its ancient marine past. The mountain is also home to a significant number of caves, including the Hili Archaeological Park caves, which have yielded evidence of early human settlement dating back to the Neolithic period.

Driving the Jebel Hafeet Road offers panoramic views of Al Ain and the surrounding desert landscape. Designated viewpoints along the road allow for stops. The Green Mubazzarah, a park at the base of the mountain, features hot springs and recreational areas.

Restrooms are available at designated viewpoints and at the summit hotel. Shade is limited to natural rock overhangs and the hotel facilities. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is generally available along the main road and at the summit. Food vendors are not present on the mountain itself, but restaurants and cafes are located in Al Ain and at the Green Mubazzarah park.
Best Time to Visit
For photography, early morning or late afternoon provides optimal lighting conditions with softer shadows. The best months for visiting are from October to April, when temperatures are cooler, averaging between 20°C and 30°C (68°F and 86°F). Summer months (May to September) are extremely hot, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F).

Jebel Hafeet is home to the Jebel Hafeet Bee, a species of solitary bee discovered in the caves of the mountain. The mountain's name translates to "Empty Quarter Mountain," though it is geographically distinct from the Rub' al Khali desert of the same name.
