The tomb is a 117-foot tall granite obelisk situated atop a knoll. The exterior is constructed from granite blocks. A bronze statue of Abraham Lincoln stands at the entrance. The interior features a central burial chamber with four marble sarcophagi, one for Abraham Lincoln and three for his wife and sons. The walls are adorned with mosaics depicting scenes from Lincoln's life and quotations. A circular reflecting pool is located in front of the tomb.
