Public transport options include the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) bus line 36 (Poplar). The exhibit is located in the western section of the zoo.

Teton Trek was opened in 2006 as part of the Memphis Zoo's expansion. It is designed to replicate the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, focusing on the Teton Range. The exhibit houses species native to this region, including grizzly bears, wolves, and bald eagles.
