The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design was formed by the merger of the National Gallery, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, and the National Museum of Architecture. The new purpose-built facility, designed by Kleihues + Schuwerk, officially opened on June 11, 2022.
