Parque Cultural de Valparaíso is a cultural center located in Valparaíso, Chile. It occupies a former prison site on Cerro Cárcel.

Visual Characteristics

The park features a combination of restored prison structures and open green spaces. The original prison buildings are constructed from reinforced concrete and brick, painted in muted tones of grey and off-white. The site includes terraced gardens, walking paths, and an amphitheater. The overall elevation provides views of the city and the Pacific Ocean.

Parque Cultural de Valparaíso is situated at Cárcel 471, Cerro Cárcel, Valparaíso. It is approximately 1.5km west of the city center. Access is via Avenida Errázuriz and then ascending Cerro Cárcel via Calle Lautaro or Calle Salvador Donoso. Limited street parking is available on surrounding streets.
