Historical & Ecological Origin

Construction began in 2009 and was completed in 2017. The architectural design was led by the American firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF). The building was originally intended to be taller, but a planned spire was removed to accommodate an airport flight path. Its primary purpose is commercial office space, retail, and a hotel.

The building includes multiple restrooms on all public floors. Extensive shaded areas are available within the retail mall. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is consistently strong throughout the building. Numerous food vendors and restaurants are located within the adjacent retail mall and the building's lower levels.

Best Time to Visit

For optimal photography, the late afternoon provides favorable lighting conditions as the sun sets. The best months for clear views are typically from October to December, when air quality is generally better. No specific tide requirements are applicable.

Facts & Legends

During its construction, a mysterious vibration was detected, leading to speculation about its cause. Investigations revealed it was due to wind interacting with the building's structure, a phenomenon common in supertall skyscrapers.
