The bastion is constructed primarily from brick and stone. It features a polygonal base with projecting bastions. The exterior walls are rough-hewn stone, with visible brickwork in repairs and upper sections. The structure stands approximately 15 meters high.

Construction of the bastion began in the 15th century, with significant modifications and expansions occurring in the 16th and 17th centuries.
