Chaweng Beach is a 7-kilometer stretch of coastline located on the eastern side of Koh Samui, Thailand. It is the island's longest and most developed beach.

The beach features fine, white sand. The water is typically clear and exhibits shades of turquoise and blue, with a gradual depth increase. Coconut palm trees line the rear of the beach.

Chaweng Beach is situated approximately 15 kilometers northeast of Samui International Airport (USM). Access is via Beach Road, which runs parallel to the shoreline. Numerous parking areas are available along Beach Road, though they can become congested during peak hours. Public transport is primarily via songthaews (shared taxis) that traverse the main roads of Koh Samui, with frequent services passing Chaweng.

A local legend suggests that the beach was named after a Thai word for "wind," due to the constant sea breeze. The northern end of Chaweng is known for its slightly calmer waters compared to the southern sections.
