Local auto-rickshaws and taxis are available from the station and within the village.

The temple was constructed in the early 20th century, with its foundation stone laid in 1972. It was built under the patronage of the then Maharaja of Chhatarpur, Shri Vikram Singh. The original purpose was to house and venerate the idol of Goddess Chandela.
