Historical & Ecological Origin

The original church on this site dates back to the 7th century, founded by the noble Moisè family. It was rebuilt multiple times, with the current Baroque structure largely dating from a reconstruction completed in 1668 by Alessandro Tremignon, and further modified by Giovanni Battista Fattoretto in the early 18th century. Its original purpose was as a parish church.
