Follow NV-169 West for approximately 3 miles, then turn right onto Conestoga Drive. The club entrance is on the left. Ample parking is available on-site. No public transport directly serves the golf club.

Historical & Ecological Origin

Designed by Gary Panks, Conestoga Golf Club opened in 2008. The course was developed within the existing desert topography, aiming to integrate with the natural environment rather than extensively reshaping it. The ecological setting is high desert, characterized by arid conditions and native desert flora.

Key Highlights & Activities

Play is organized across three 9-hole loops: the Mesquite, the Stinger, and the Desert. Each loop offers distinct challenges and strategic considerations. The primary activity is playing 18 or 27 holes of golf. Practice facilities, including a driving range and putting green, are available.

Infrastructure & Amenities

The facility includes a clubhouse with a pro shop and a restaurant/bar. Restrooms are located at the clubhouse and at designated points on the course. Shade structures are present on some tee boxes and cart paths. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is generally available, though it may vary in certain areas of the course.

Best Time to Visit

The optimal time for playing golf is during the cooler months, from October through April. Mornings offer softer light for photography. Summer months (June-August) can be extremely hot, with temperatures frequently exceeding 100°F (38°C).

Facts & Legends

The course design emphasizes strategic shot-making, requiring players to navigate natural hazards and elevation changes. A unique feature is the integration of native desert vegetation, which players are encouraged to respect and avoid disturbing.
