Hussain Sagar Lake is a man-made heart-shaped lake situated in the center of Hyderabad, India. It was constructed in 1563 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah.

Several bus routes serve the areas surrounding the lake, including routes 65, 100, and 290. The nearest metro station is Hussain Sagar Lake (Blue Line), approximately 1 kilometer from the southern edge.

Hussain Sagar Lake was built during the reign of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. It was originally named "Khairtabad Tank" and was designed to supply water to the city. The lake is fed by the Musi River and several smaller canals. It is classified as an urban lake ecosystem.
