Access is via the N103 national road, turning off onto a gravel track approximately 15 kilometers past the town of Ribáuè. This track is approximately 5 kilometers long and requires a 4x4 vehicle, especially during the rainy season. There is no designated parking area; vehicles are typically parked at the base of the mountain. Public transport to the town of Ribáuè is available via local bus services from Nampula, but onward travel to the mountain base is not served by public transport.
