Sam Poh Tong Temple is a Buddhist cave temple located in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.
It is one of the largest and most well-known cave temples in the country.

The temple is situated within a limestone cave. The interior features numerous Buddha statues, Buddhist iconography, and natural stalactites and stalagmites. The main cave chamber is expansive, with a high ceiling. Smaller chambers and passages branch off from the main area. The exterior of the cave entrance is partially obscured by vegetation and a small pond.

Sam Poh Tong Temple is located approximately 5 kilometers south of Ipoh city center. Access is via Jalan Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah (formerly Gopeng Road). The temple is situated directly off the main road. Ample parking is available on-site, free of charge. Public bus routes serving the southern Ipoh area typically stop within walking distance of the temple entrance.

The cave is a natural limestone karst formation. The temple was established in 1912 by a Buddhist monk. It was later expanded and developed over several decades. The original purpose was to provide a place for Buddhist worship and meditation within a natural setting.
