Visual Characteristics
This 7-story tower stands approximately 22 meters (72 feet) high. It is constructed from red sandstone. The exterior is adorned with intricate carvings depicting Jain deities and scenes from their scriptures. The architectural style is characteristic of Solanki architecture, with a square base and a tapering octagonal shaft.
Location & Access Logistics
The Kirti Stambh is situated within the Chittorgarh Fort. Access to the fort is via the main gate, the Padan Pol. The fort is located approximately 10 kilometers north of Chittorgarh city. Private vehicles can drive up to the fort entrance, and parking is available within the fort grounds. Public buses operate from Chittorgarh city to the fort entrance. Auto-rickshaws are also available.

The Kirti Stambh was built in the 12th century by a Jain merchant named Jeeja Bhagerwala. It was dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain Tirthankara. The tower served as a monument to Jainism and a symbol of religious devotion.
