Moti Magri is situated on the western bank of Fateh Sagar Lake, approximately 4 kilometers northwest of the Udaipur City Palace. Access is via the road encircling Fateh Sagar Lake. Parking is available at the base of the hill. Auto-rickshaws and taxis are common modes of transport to reach the location. No specific bus lines directly serve the immediate vicinity of Moti Magri.
Historical & Ecological Origin
Moti Magri was developed as a memorial to Maharana Pratap, a 16th-century Rajput ruler. The hillock itself is a natural geological formation, part of the Aravalli Range. The bronze statue was erected in the 1960s.
