Alternatively, guests can opt for a 1.5-hour seaplane transfer directly from MLE. There is no direct road access from the mainland.
Historical & Ecological Origin
The island is an artificial land reclamation project, developed specifically for tourism. Its ecological context is within the Maldivian coral reef system, a geologically young formation built upon volcanic bedrock.

The resort offers multiple swimming pools, including an infinity pool and a water park. Guided excursions for dolphin watching and sunset cruises are conducted regularly.

Restrooms are located within resort facilities and public areas. Shade is provided by natural vegetation and constructed cabanas.
Best Time to Visit
The dry season, from December to April, offers the most favorable weather conditions with minimal rainfall and calm seas. The best time of day for underwater photography is between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM due to optimal sunlight penetration. High tide is generally preferred for swimming and water sports.
Facts & Legends
A unique feature of Siyam World is its "Jurassic Park" themed area, featuring life-sized dinosaur models scattered throughout the island's jungle. Local folklore in the Maldives often speaks of sea spirits and ancient mariners, though specific legends tied directly to this artificial island are not widely documented.
