Stepanavan Dendropark is a botanical garden located in the Lori Province of Armenia, near the city of Vanadzor.

The park covers approximately 35 hectares. It features a varied topography with rolling hills and small valleys. Dominant vegetation includes coniferous trees such as pine and fir, alongside deciduous species like oak and birch. The ground cover consists of grasses and smaller shrubs. A small artificial lake is present within the park's boundaries.

Stepanavan Dendropark is situated 4 kilometers north of the city of Stepanavan, which is itself 12 kilometers north of Vanadzor. Access is via the M6 highway. Turn off the M6 onto the local road leading directly to the park entrance. Parking is available at the main entrance. Public transport options are limited; local buses run between Vanadzor and Stepanavan, requiring a taxi or local transport from Stepanavan to the park.
Historical & Ecological Origin
The park was established in 1933 by Polish botanist Edmund Leonowicz. Its original purpose was to create a collection of arboreal species from various climatic zones. The park is situated on a plateau with a temperate climate, supporting the growth of introduced species.

Visitors can walk the designated trails throughout the park. Photography is a common activity due to the variety of plant life. Picnicking is permitted in designated areas. The park contains a small arboretum showcasing different tree species.

Facts & Legends
Edmund Leonowicz personally collected many of the initial specimens for the park. A specific legend states that a rare species of orchid, thought to be extinct in the region, can still be found in a secluded section of the park, though its exact location is not publicly disclosed.
