World's End is situated within Horton Plains National Park. Access is via the A4 road from Nuwara Eliya, a distance of approximately 30 kilometers. The final 8 kilometers to the park entrance and the visitor center are unpaved and require a vehicle with higher ground clearance or a 4WD. Parking is available at the Horton Plains National Park entrance. Public transport to the park entrance is limited; private vehicles or pre-arranged taxis are the primary means of access. From the visitor center, it is a 4-kilometer walk to World's End.

The best time of day for clear views is typically between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, before cloud cover often develops. The dry season, from December to March, offers the highest probability of clear conditions. High tide is not applicable to this inland location.
