Parking is available on-site, with capacity for approximately 500 vehicles. There are no public transport options directly serving the ski area.

The ski area was established in 1939 by the Jensen family, who continue to own and operate it. Its original purpose was to provide a local recreational skiing destination. The area is situated within the Cache National Forest, characterized by Wasatch Range geology, primarily sedimentary rock formations.
