The primary structure at the Mirador is a large, white concrete cross, approximately 30 meters in height. The base of the cross is surrounded by a paved plaza. The surrounding vegetation consists of native grasses and scattered trees, typical of the Andean foothills.
Location & Access Logistics
Mirador de Turi is situated approximately 4 kilometers south of Cuenca's historic center. Access is via the Calle Larga, which becomes the Via Turi as it ascends the hill. The road is paved and suitable for private vehicles. Parking is available in designated lots at the summit, though capacity can be limited during peak hours. Public bus line 10 provides service to the base of the hill; a short walk is required for the final ascent. Taxis are readily available from Cuenca.
