Nilaveli Beach is a 4-kilometer stretch of coastline located approximately 10 kilometers north of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.

The beach features fine, pale golden sand. The ocean water is clear and exhibits shades of turquoise and deep blue. Coconut palms line the landward side of the beach, providing a dense green border.

Location & Access Logistics

Access is via the A15 (Trincomalee-Batticaloa Highway). From Trincomalee city center, travel north on the A15 for approximately 8 kilometers, then turn east onto Beach Road. Parking is available along Beach Road, with some informal spaces near access points. Public transport options include local bus routes that run along the A15; disembark at the junction for Beach Road and walk the remaining distance.
