The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The temple is located in the Vishwanath Gali, approximately 1.5 km west of the main Varanasi railway station (Cantt). Access is primarily on foot through narrow lanes from various points, including the Dashashwamedh Ghat and the Godowlia intersection. Vehicle access is restricted in the immediate vicinity. Several bus routes terminate at Godowlia, which is a 5-minute walk from the temple entrance. Auto-rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws are available from the railway station to Godowlia.

The temple's origins are ancient, with historical accounts suggesting its existence for at least 11 centuries. The current structure was rebuilt by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in 1780 after its destruction by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
