Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is a botanical garden located in Northeast Washington, D.C. It is the only National Park Service garden in the United States dedicated to aquatic plants.

Parking is available on-site in a designated lot. The closest Metro station is Deanwood (Orange Line), which is approximately 1.5 miles away; a bus connection (e.g., Metrobus 96) is required from Deanwood to reach the gardens.

The gardens were established in 1938 by W. B. Shaw, who cultivated water lilies and lotuses on the site. The land was acquired by the National Park Service in 1950. The site's ecological significance lies in its role as a habitat for various aquatic species and migratory birds within an urban environment.

The peak blooming season for water lilies and lotuses is from June through September. For optimal viewing of blooming flowers, visit in the morning, typically between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. High tide is not a relevant factor for visiting the gardens.
