Visual Characteristics

The bridge spans 150 meters (490 feet) in length and 12 meters (39 feet) in width. The walkway is constructed from reinforced concrete, with a gold-colored railing. The two supporting hands are sculpted from concrete and finished to resemble weathered stone, covered in moss and vegetation.

Access to Ba Na Hills is primarily via a cable car system from the base station. The cable car journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Parking is available at the base station. Public transport options to the base station include local buses and taxis from Da Nang.

Historical & Ecological Origin

The Golden Bridge was designed by TA Landscape Architecture and opened in June 2018. It was conceived as a focal point for the Ba Na Hills resort, intended to draw visitors and enhance the scenic experience. The surrounding area is characterized by mountainous terrain with a tropical climate.

Key Highlights & Activities

Walking across the bridge offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Photography is a primary activity due to the unique design and vistas. Visitors can also explore the Ba Na Hills resort, which includes gardens and other attractions.

Infrastructure & Amenities

Restrooms are available within the Ba Na Hills resort complex. Shade is provided by the surrounding trees and resort structures. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is generally available. Food vendors and restaurants are located within the Ba Na Hills resort.

Best Time to Visit

The best time of day for photography is typically in the morning or late afternoon when the sunlight creates distinct shadows on the stone hands. The dry season, from January to August, offers the most favorable weather conditions. The bridge is accessible year-round, but fog can reduce visibility during the wet season (September to December).

Facts & Legends

The design of the hands is intended to evoke the image of ancient gods holding the bridge. Local folklore sometimes associates the mountains with ancient spirits, though no specific legends are directly tied to the bridge's construction.
