Landscape Arch is situated in the Devils Garden area of Arches National Park. Access is via the park's main scenic drive, then turning onto the Devils Garden Road. The trailhead for Landscape Arch is located at the end of Devils Garden Road, approximately 18 miles (29 km) north of the park entrance station. Parking is available at the Devils Garden Trailhead. No public transport operates within the park.

For photography, early morning or late afternoon light provides optimal illumination of the arch's color and texture. The best months for visiting are April, May, September, and October, offering moderate temperatures. The arch is accessible year-round, but winter conditions can bring snow and ice.

Landscape Arch has undergone significant changes throughout its history. In 1991, a large section of its southern span collapsed, demonstrating the dynamic nature of these formations. This event reduced its length and altered its appearance.
