Paldalmun Gate | Suwon

Paldalmun Gate is a historic city gate located in Suwon, South Korea. It is one of the four main gates of the Hwaseong Fortress.

Visual Characteristics

The gate is constructed from granite and wood. It features a two-story pavilion with a hip-and-gable roof covered in dark grey tiles. The main archway is a significant opening in the fortress wall. The structure stands approximately 10 meters high.
