Location & Access Logistics
Siloso Beach is located at the westernmost point of Sentosa Island. Access is via Sentosa Gateway, turning onto Artillery Avenue, then Palawan Beach Walk. Parking is available at the Beach Station car park, approximately 100 meters from the beach. Sentosa Express monorail: alight at Beach Station. Bus services: Sentosa Bus 1, Sentosa Bus 2, Sentosa Bus 3, and Sentosa Bus 4 all stop at Beach Station.
Historical & Ecological Origin
Siloso Beach was created as part of the Sentosa Development Corporation's efforts to develop the island into a tourist destination. The sand was imported and the coastline engineered. The area was formerly part of a military base.
Key Highlights & Activities
Activities include beach volleyball, swimming, and water sports such as kayaking and paddleboarding. The AJ Hackett Sentosa Bungy Jump tower is located at the western end of the beach. Several bars and restaurants are situated along the beachfront.

Restrooms and shower facilities are available. Shade is provided by palm trees and some temporary structures. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is generally strong. Food and beverage vendors are present along the beach promenade.
Best Time to Visit
For photography, early morning (07:00-09:00) or late afternoon (16:00-18:00) offers softer lighting. The weather is generally consistent year-round, with average temperatures around 30°C. Rainfall is more frequent during the monsoon season (November to January).
Facts & Legends
During World War II, the area surrounding Siloso Beach was part of the British military defenses. Remnants of old fortifications can still be found in the vicinity, though not directly on the beach itself.
