The mall's exterior is a modern glass and steel structure. Interior design varies by floor, with themes including Tokyo (neon lights, Japanese signage), London (red double-decker buses, Big Ben replica), Istanbul (arches, mosaic patterns), San Francisco (Golden Gate Bridge replica, cable car), and Hollywood (Walk of Fame stars). Floors are color-coded and feature distinct architectural elements and decorative motifs corresponding to their theme.

Terminal 21 is situated at 88 Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110. It is directly connected to the BTS Skytrain's Asok Station and the MRT Subway's Sukhumvit Station via a skybridge. Driving access is via Sukhumvit Road. The mall provides multi-level underground parking for approximately 1,500 vehicles.

Terminal 21 opened in October 2011. It was developed by LH Mall & Hotel Co., Ltd. The concept was to create a shopping destination that offered a unique travel experience through its diverse city themes.
