It was developed by Circus Circus Enterprises (later Mandalay Resort Group, then acquired by MGM Mirage, now MGM Resorts International). The original purpose was to create a South Seas-themed resort experience. The beach and wave pool were engineered to simulate a tropical environment.
Key Highlights & Activities
Activities include gaming in the casino, attending live performances at the Michelob ULTRA Arena and House of Blues, and exploring the Shark Reef Aquarium. Guests can utilize the wave pool, lazy river, and multiple swimming pools at Mandalay Bay Beach. The resort also houses numerous restaurants and bars. Convention and trade shows are regularly held in the convention center.
Infrastructure & Amenities
The resort provides 3,316 hotel rooms and suites. Restrooms are available throughout the casino, hotel, and public areas. Significant shaded areas are present at the pool complex. Best Time to Visit
For outdoor pool activities, the months of April through October offer the most favorable weather.
