Siri Fort is a fortified complex located in South Delhi, India. It was the third of the seven ancient cities of Delhi.

Several DTC bus routes serve the area, including routes 448, 448A, and 448CL. Limited parking is available near the site.

Siri Fort was built by Alauddin Khilji, the ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, starting in 1303 AD. Its original purpose was to serve as a defensive fortification against Mongol invasions and as the capital of his empire. The site is located on a rocky outcrop.

A notable historical detail is that Siri Fort was the first city of Delhi to be built by a Muslim ruler. Legend suggests that the fort's construction was so rapid that the blood of the laborers was mixed with the mortar, though this is unsubstantiated.
